Harbor Heritage House
Family Hospitality on the Shores of Lake Erie.
Hosting travelers for over 100 years in Conneaut, Ohio.
For more than a century, our family has been welcoming travelers to Conneaut. Our grandparents ran a local gas and coal station, owned a harbor tavern where sailors gathered for cold beers, and cooked up family favorites like spaghetti dinners, fried smelt, and stuffed Hungarian hot peppers.
Life here is about community and the lake — a place where work, fun, and rest come together. After a long day on Lake Erie, an afternoon at the beach with family, or trout fishing along Conneaut Creek, the best way to experience our town has always been around a table, sharing food and stories.
At Harbor Heritage House, we carry that tradition forward. A stay here isn’t just about where you sleep — it’s about connecting to Conneaut’s history, hospitality, and heart.
